MSU vs Duke, KU vs UK

Man what's with the blue/white doctors office lighting in these gyms lately?

Duke can’t shoot.
#21 for Duke is easily the most hateable Duke player in years.
I can’t stand him and this is the first time I have ever seen him play.

Michigan State depth has worn down Duke.
I never want to hear Magic Johnson as a comp for Duke’s Johnson.

I never want to hear Magic Johnson as a comp for anybody. It ain’t happening.

Luka Doncic is close but I agree player comps should never use top 5 players all time.

That is just stupid. Jason Kidd is a guy I would use if the player was similar to Magic. As Kidd was a great player but not Magic.

Jalen Johnson, at least at this point, looks like the only "stud" on this dook team

What year could we be invited to the Champion Series? Michigan State is not that good. The best programs are Kansas, Kentucky, Duke and UNC. The next tier are UCLA, Villanova and UConn. Then Indiana. This is my top 8. Basically we did nothing in the past 15 years and let UConn and Villanova pass us.
Huh?? We won a national title 17 years ago, have been to two Final Fours, an Elite Eight, and four other 16s in three of the last 11 years, plus two Big East regular season titles and 2 BE tourney finals appearances. As for Michigan State, they’ve made 8 Final Fours in the past 22 years, more than any other program.

Got Mich. St. +3.5, sprinkled a little on the MSU money line +150. Also UK/KU Over 143.5 and a small parlay on MSU spread and UK/KU Over.

House money for game 2

Way to early to say this but I will anyway, don't think any of these four blue bloods are likely to be playing deep into March or whenever they complete the NCAAT.

I always remember this one from NBA draft.net. They compared Loren Woods to Kareem!!
I went to archive.org and found this profile on him from December 14, 2000 -- he was ultimately drafted 48th overall in 2001.

His comment was really odd on so many levels. First, he slams Michigan St, and puts UConn, Villanova, Indiana, and UCLA all ahead of them. Indiana and UCLA have largely been irrelevant the past 10 years except for a few bright spots. UConn does have the two titles since 2010... but let's be honest they have been a very mediocre program since 2011, with one lucky run in 2014.

Unfortunately right Syracuse doesn't really belong near Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, UNC, (and Michigan St and Villanova I suppose on recent times either). But as you said saying Indiana has stayed relevant compared to us is so odd. Our strong period where we were close with those "big" schools was between 2009-2014 and we could easily argue we were in that next tier of 4 at that time... which as far as I can remember was not 15 years ago either!! Indiana has had nowhere close to a run like we did between 2009-2014 in this century.
This is champion series. You are invited if you have won multiple championships.

I think it's possible any one of them can make a run in a one and done format.
But I would agree that it could be the first time in a long time that none of the 4 blue bloods + Michigan St are top 2 seeds.

Makes me uncomfortable to say it, but I agree.
