I'm thinking that big games are coming from Eric Dungey, but also Ervin Philips on the offensive side.

On D, I have a feeling that we get a breakout game from Kendall Coleman, along with a strong push up the middle from Mr. Slayton.

I think you're going to see alot of Custis/Ishmael this year. Basically, if a D doesn't want to show safety help to one side or the other, we're going to take our shots.

Initially I thought Erv would have the biggest year, but, I'm not sold on that anymore. Unless teams want to show alot of Cover 2... Our outside receivers are going to run a lot of verts and that will open up the interior for Raven/Erv.

If I'm SS though, I want Dungey to have to hit the edge. Longer throw with pressure in his face... Bubbles all day. Cover 0 in the RZ most times too from SS, so expect back shoulders and fades inside the 25.

Defensively, hopefully we can force a couple TO's, I think that's critical.

I think our WRs will have a huge day as we give MTSU a big buffet of bubble screens
On Defense I would like to the DLine have a huge impact against a young OL

Shaf will show alot of cover 1, but rarely play cover 1. He'll expose the flat to the pressure side, does not want to get beat deep. Will be a test for the protection if they can slide and sort through the chaos. If they can, you'll see Erv and Pierce have big days. If not, you'll see alot more bubbles and inside zone.
I agree with you about Ish and Custis and it will be interesting to watch through the year. I don't think those two will be able to consistently stretch teams vertically, but they will definitely have match-up advantages in the quick game and when left on an island.

I think it could be a coming out party for Ravian Pierce. I expect the middle to be open against this team, I think he could carve them up.

I like your thought, but didn't sniff anything between the numbers intermediate to deep, last week. Hope you are right.

Whomever is picking up the blitzes next to Dungey. Offense

The whole DL: Defense

I'm going with true freshman Pierre on O. I just can't believe our Line doesn't/didn't get enough of a push (against the likes of a Central Connecticut, middling C-USA Team, etc.) to be that bad running the ball knowing the threat of the passing game.

And on Defense, I'm looking at Jonathan Thomas to come out angry after sitting last week and to "get back" at his former HC on behalf of his hometown metro-Atlanta "soft-nosed" friends and family. :)
