Both games were good quality and close games. Michigan State by far had the most fans followed by NC State. I was disappointed in the Louisville crowd, I expected a much larger contingent from a basketball school like that. Overall though, the crowd was fun and they had a lot of coordinated chants with the band and so forth which was pretty cool. Did have a bad experience with one Michigan State fan who swore at my dad and I over the buses to Manley. The out of towners were all huddled near where the buses first pull up so my dad and I simply walked past them down to the other end knowing that the buses pull forward quite a bit. This guy thought we were cutting and lit into us about a line being formed and we just laughed because we thought about a Cuse game where it's a shoving match to get onto a bus. Funny thing is, we weren't the only ones doing it but this guy wanted to practice his vocabulary apparently. Overall, it was a fun night.

No way was I going to go and support an NCAA event. I know several people who planned on going and backed out. Would have liked to have seen 10k there.

Yeah but every time an ACC team wins Syracuse gets more money. I will be rooting for the Cards on Sunday in the Dome. 3 out of 8 ACC teams in the elite 8!

You must have rooted for Gtown then.

And what does who you root for have to do with supporting an NCAA event? An event we weren't allowed to participate in. I bet in those 100 NCAA board threads you ripped the NCAA as if they were the cartel. Now you support them.

Relax, I want to see good basketball. I've never been to an NCAA tourney game before, couldn't pass it up being in the Dome. Im sorry that your feelings are hurt that I enjoyed a good night of basketball. Jeez dude.

My feelings aren't hurt. I enjoyed the games at Tully's. Just find it interesting the feelings have about the NCAA investigation and the fact we couldn't participate and the first chance they get people rush out and support them.

And no, I meant that while I am there I will root for the ACC.

Can't have it both ways. Georgetown winning NCAA games when we were in the BE got us more money.

The only thing I did was bought tickets. I didn't buy NCAA apparel, I did not buy any food or anything at the dome for that matter. I simply bought tickets to watch the game. Also, I bought my tickets in November or December before sanctions were announced.

I have rooted for Georgetown many times. I believed their success reflected well on the Big East. Take away my fan card.

You're just looking for an argument haha. I'm done with you.

I said the same in other threads. Other people also won't root for a Gtown or a Pitt or a Duke or an NCST. Root for or against teams.

When your 14 year old who really doesnt know anything about the ncaa and loves hoop asks if you can go you go. Spending time with him at the games last night were great regardless of what the ncaa did to us. No offense but thats a silly reason

My Dad used to take me in the early 90s when we hosted the first and second round games. Do you know how cool it was to be able to skip school and go watch four college basketball games with your Dad? Some of my best memories growing up and 20 years from now i bet your kids will feel the same.

Its fun as a parent as my dad did the same thing.

So how long will you not support NCAA events? Are you aware that Syracuse Football, lacrosse and all other Syracuse sports are NCAA events? Also, by watching an NCAA game on television, you essentially are supporting and NCAA event.

Yea whatever. I'm talking about the event the basketball team was ineligible for.

Boycott all of the sponsors!!! Who wants to drink Coke or Anheuser Busch products or drive a GM car anyways. Forget those American companies. Buy foreign made because we got screwed.

Bees, your comment is an attack, plain and simple... let's not act like you haven't done anything hypocritical around here...
