Damn, you have it all figured out. LOL. Actually the first thread I posted in was the ND-Butler game thread and I said I was rooting for Butler. Got heat for that for not rooting for the ACC. Also posted in another thread started by Ox who I am sure has a zillion posts and I think it was LongIsland I replied to but I'm not looking it up. You can sleuth it. There were other threads where this topic got discussed to. Have no idea who started them and don't remember Marsh's or the newbies. But you're all over it.

I'm sure Tully's would have turned off their tv's if I left. Besides, ads are already sold on my tv. Not the same thing.

Future tv contracts are based on ratings of current games. Either way ticket purchase or tv viewing it doesn't matter but if it makes you feel better...

Didn't mean to start an argument fellas. I simply wanted to say I had a good time with my father watching some basketball. The NCAA can screw themselves, lets not let them get to us haha.

No way was I going to go and support an NCAA event. I know several people who planned on going and backed out. Would have liked to have seen 10k there.

If 10K had been there the NCAA wouldn't have said "Gee, I guess we were wrong to penalize Syracuse so hard." They would have said "Gee, we'd better not put tournament games in the Carrier Dome any more."

You can quibble about what punishments were appropriate or what individuals were at fault but we did commit academic fraud and deserved to be punished. It's not like we were poor, innocent Syracuse.

if you want to criticize the NCAA, criticize the NCAA. If you want to see March Madness, go to the games.
