My Plan B

Since it is too hard to watch live and I am too addicted/committed (probably should be committed), to not watch at all, I have decided to just watch replays so as to not have my hopes crushed minute by minute. I would rather know we lost ahead of watching.

We can't travel until December so to fill our Saturdays, we are going up the road 25 miles to watch Coastal Carolina play (without conflicting loyalties). We left at the half yesterday and watched the Chanticleers shut out the highly vaunted Gardner Webb Running Bulldogs 49-0.

The entire experience was enjoyable. Very good team, great community support, better food than the dome (and most other venues)' friendly fans. It was so cool not watching with that impending sense of doom.

They only had 4 tubas, but what the hell.

This may allow me to save what little is left of my sanity while I wait to see what Coyle does.

Agreed, going to a game you don't have stakes in is a ton of fun. You get to just enjoy the experience. The high isn't as big as when your team plays great and gets a big win, but the experience is generally a lot more positive.
