1. Just win, baby

2. Obviously very happy with the defense, but thought we also missed many opportunities in the 1st half to make big plays. Besides the Whigham drop, we made their QB look like Vick with how many times we wiffed with putting him down behind the line of scrimmage. Countless times we had him and just wiffed. Have seen this in previous games as well. Finally put him down at the end of the game.

3. Loved the trick play which resulted in the TD pass to Estime, as well as the fake FG with Dixon. As a matter of fact, if Macky holds off Whitlock another split second, he's in.

4. Liked seeing the younger guys get more reps, including Emerich (though his was b/c of injury). This experience is very valuable and hopefully cuts down on any excitement snaps game 1 next year.

5. Why does it seem 90% of our passes are either screens or bombs downthe field that demand pinpoint accuracy. Would like to see some more intermediate passes, crossing patterns

6. Wouldn't mind them running Hunt a little more so the D has to account for him more. Think it would help our running game

7. Very frustrated at all the penalties, particularly the illegal substitution right after a timeout. That's inexcusable.

8. Disappointed to still not see Estime on KR (though there weren't many). My eyes don't lie-that guy would bring it to the house with some KR chances.

9. Bromley is a stud. Spruill, Lynch, and Dy Davis were also very good

10. Loved the way we defended the bubble screens

11. Thought our blitzes were disguised much better this week

12. PTG was brutal in the 1st half, but obviously played much better in the 2nd. Still would like more Jerome.

13. Like having Broyld and Estime on the field at the same time

14. Hunt is improving-had one beautiful deep ball and close on some others. Love his athletic ability, especially in the red zone.

15. Did I mention just win, baby?

I forgot to mention about Hunt getting a chance to speak to Mcnabb this weekend. I hope that he was able to give him some tips. Wonder if Mcnabb was also able to speak w/ the other QBs

McNabb said he told him to take a load off and not think that it all depends on him. Go out and have fun.

Made me think about Tulane and Wagner - he seemed very calm, and was loose. 2nd half drive reminded me of that.

I haven't re-watched the game, so this may have been my Orange colored glasses, but one of the reasons I thought Price got free so many times was that the officials missed a ton of holds, especially on WF's interior linemen.

Anyone else think that?

Desire does a solid job as a punt returner but to me, he is a play to not lose type returner while Estime is a play to win.

They watched some film together and Hunt received pointers.

The WF Punter had excellent hang time all game. He didn't really have a chance to return anything. I think he's done a very good job overall. Just can't figure out why no Estime on KR's. My eyes don't lie-that boy can fly.

The WF punter did do a very good job and I am very comfortable with Desire back there, very good hands. Still, I'd like to see Estime back there and yes, no doubt about it...on kick offs too.

If our gameplan against Maryland is power run, perimeter run, bubble screen, deep pass, then Edsall will eat us alive. Maryland should be healthier, and Edsall can defensively scheme with the best of them.

This might be a good game to see the triumphant return of Beckett Wales the pass catcher. TEs should have plenty of room in this game.

Every fair catch made Saturday would have been a fair catch regardless of the return man.

WF punter reminded me of Rob Long with the hang time he got on his kicks.

You may well be right about the game plan - but they've had so many injuries, I'm not sure a little bit healthier will help that much.

Should be a close one.
