People keep saying give the ball to Willis. He hasn’t shown me much at all. He has little speed to explode through gaps and he dances too much given his size. He’s not very elusive and seldom bounces to the outside. He’s has potential, but he’s not a twenty times a game runner.

Can we at least try it once?

I thought Fran Jr. was in once as a kick returner and did a decent job.
The lady from AZ even had trouble with the heat and constant sun and needed a time out to cool down with some ice wrapped in paper towels.
I agree that once Rickie started using his legs, our offense did much better and gives me hope for building on this. I’m not giving up yet either. I need to see what they can do at home after a bye week. I also think a lot of our fans were tuned out by the time we started looking better.
Tailgate was great. Perfect spot with a lot of shade. Yea those dogs were really good. So were the premade sandwiches on the pretzel bread. Nice job everyone.
PS. I was one of about 8-10 of us who stayed until the very end of the game.

I did not like that. Wasn’t Simmons or #40 or designated goal line fullback? It’s weird enough we have Fran Jr the snapper for field goals and the real long snapper in for punts.

Great write up. Interesting I thought the Oline did a fairly good job pass blocking but some of the run game woes are the way too upright and dancing around on short yardage rather than picking a hole and powering through.
