For the DC position….just hear me out on this….Kevin Rogers….and yes I know he is an offensive coach but I think it’s overrated to have a defensive coach who has any experience coaching a defense. Amirite?

Alright I took the averages from Shafer and White over their years as DC here.

Shafer defenses gave up an average of 25.1 ppg with an average ranking of #54 in points allowed.

White defenses gave up an average of 27.4 ppg with an average ranking of #65 in points allowed.

As a HC, Shafers teams allowed an average of 26.9 ppg with an average ranking of #61 in points allowed.

Idek he retired so he’s obviously not ever coming back but just wanted to remind everyone what a good job he did here in DC role.
