If I'm coyle. I get shafer a few million to bring in better positions coaches. I also think this all out defensive scheme we have now is putting way too much pressure on the freshman and sophomores. Need to dumb down the defense. As for the offense I look at play calling and sometime I think wow great call. But then I see a bunch of stupid option calls to the short side. Something has to change or we are in trouble. If I'm coyle I'm sitting shafer down Monday morning. Give him the option and the money to go after coaches that have proven that track records in p5. If he doesn't think we need changes then shafer gets 6 weeks to say goodbye. I don't want to hit reset but wow getting blown up at usf then losing to a bad uva. Not good

So spend millions on assistants who are ultimately better coaches than the head coach, their boss?
 
I'm not saying pay them millions each. I'm betting the coaches salaries are towards the bottom of all p5 schools. Give shafer more of a budget to upgrade his staff.
