He had a 100.32 rating.

Last year, that's 21st percentile of all team game data.

Obviously 100 is way better than what we got the prior 3 games. But still, the odds of a qb having 4 games in a row as bad as the last one (which was still way better) is 0.19%. That's 1 out of every 529

What we actually got was much more rare than that.

My point here is to show how bad a rating of 100.32 is.

combined rating the last 4 games is 67.

On ESPN.com, Syracuse's offense is listed at #96. Pretty, pretty bad. I'd have to imagine over the last 10 years, there may not be a worse offensive team in FBS or Div 1 or whatever it's been called. Maybe someone can do the painful research. With the notable exception of 2012, it's been strikingly grim.

what hunt did against northwesterns 5th team and against wags and tulane, i really thought we had something here.....
That's a funny post right there.

I've been looking forward to this post. Our inability to throw for touchdowns is incredible.

Could be worse. We could be WF - a 3 year starter who got out played by Mr. Hunt.

price was unusually bad last game. he had a qb rating of 64

hunt's qb rating for the season against BCS teams is 69. Price's is 102.

102 stinks. 69 really stinks. I guess it's just the nature of the position HEY OH

price is an odd case. he was pretty good in 2011, but his passer rating stunk every other year.

that pass to west was worth about 13 rating points, otherwise we wouldve wintessed our 4th consecutive double digit dandy.

So Milly, what was the Senior Tanner Price's rating percentile? 0.002%?

was his rating that good? did you add West's 1 for 1 25 yards and a td to Hunt?

I had Hunt's qbr at 37.4Oh Lord

Holy crap, just imagine how horrible those stats would be if we didn't have Hunt.

Somebody shoot me... This is beyond brain-dead...

Yeah, I can hardly breathe I'm laughing so hard.
Gonna go out on a limb here and say that one hit home.

Please people, let hunt serve as another example, the one where you should leave the talent evaluating to the talent evaluators.

Think of this place like a town volunteer Fire Dept. you're all welcome to join, we will put you through training, but when the alarm goes off...about 15 of us are going to go fight the fire. The rest of you make sure the beers are cold and that the truck is washed by the end of the next day.

The numbers have been so terrible that I was beginning to wonder if they had changed the rating system. I mean, didn't McNabb have something like a 145 to 165 rating as a freshman?

For example, my job is to walk the station dog. We call him "Saltine."

Ratings are going up in general. There are a remarkable number of guys with 170 and higher now.

Plus, you have to think Price's numbers were impacted pretty substantially by his only real offensive weapon getting injured early and his offensive line deciding that blocking was for suckers.

So last week, after the same type post - did you foresee improvement and a win vs WF, Firefighter Bill?

There were a lot of naysayers on this board - many of whom were calling for Allen. Hunt's numbers were not fantastic - but the kid plays with heart and is a fighter. His personal story is a testament to that.

I'll take his numbers and a win any day.

I like Tanner Price.

But it's hard to be effective when you're running for your life.

And on Saturday he was running for his life - without his go-to receiver.
