As a gee whiz fact, if you watch the above video, at around 1:07 mark they show the crew of the USS Portland manually winching the vehicle into the well deck of the ship. A couple years ago during a test/development run of this operation, we had a guy lose a finger during that. Being in the Navy is hard.
