NBA 2018-2019

wait, i was told that Toronto was going to lose this series in maybe five at most, by the experts, after they lost game two. I want my expert fees back.

Especially after those first two games in Milwaukee, and how TO has come up flat several times before in the playoffs. I'm quite surprised at four W's in a row, myself.

I think all 3 are more or less playable; Mirotic and Ilyasova especially. They can both move their feet pretty well. Lopez is slower, but I'd imagine he'll guard Draymond the same way he guarded Horford, except perhaps sagging off a bit more. I think Milwaukee is set up pretty much as well as you possibly can be to play the Warriors; still would be underdogs if they even get past Toronto though.

Well I was right about Mirotic and Illyasova, but it just happened a series sooner than expected. Mirotic didn’t even play last night.

I don't really get the purpose of this post.

The Bucks looked great in the playoffs. They hadn't lost more than 2 games in a row in the regular season. Toronto had a history of crapping the bed in the playoffs. It wasn't unreasonable to believe up 2 to 0 that the Bucks would close it out and the Raptors were cooked.

Didn't turn out that way. That's why they play the games. The "experts" could have kept your fees if they said " know what? This is right where the Raptors want 'em"?

Agree. I mean, sometimes people are wrong. Ok, I guess?

Could've made a ton of money betting Toronto to win down 2-0. Could've recouped those expert fees a few times over

The thing I really wanted to bump was the super intense Raptors pump up season video. Not sure it was posted here (figured it was) but I couldn't find it. remember thinking it got me (the not at all Raps fan) super hyped up and was thinking of it today. Here's a good call I had

KNICKS UNDER

Total was 29.5, btw

The only Raptors video I remember is the Leonard laughing one autotuned to the pregame music.

Be interesting to see what the ratings will be for the Finals. Golden State is a popular team and fun to watch, but can't see the Raptors matchup attracting many casual fans. I could be wrong.

The purpose of this post is that “the experts” don’t know jack .. remember Steven A Smith said Lebron was done .. ?

Look at the final score of this game.

Holy Chit was NBA basketball brutal from 2004-2007.

My friend and I were talking about the 99 Knicks today, we looked up their stats. Scored and allowed about 86 points per game. Just brutal

The 99 lockout was brutal basketball.
Teams were out of shape.
The Pacers did well because they worked out together.
Knicks rode Sprewell that season.
Johnson and Camby were good defensive players.
Every Heat-Knicks playoff game should be burned and never replayed every those were Syracuse football games under Scott Shafer white knuckle bad.

That was REAL basketball! When men were men! LJ and Kurt Thomas would’ve shut LeBron down and made him cry. Now the game is all soft.

Sorry, I didn’t feel like the doing the every other letter caps thing. But those^^^kind of people that say stuff like that might be my least favorite sports fans of all.

It’s amazing how far it’s gone in the other direction now.

Personally I enjoyed the 2009-2014ish era a lot.

I think it would have been different if he didn’t shoot like 10% from the field.

Yeah. I was just too young/dumb to realize that even though the Knicks were pretty good, most of those games were just brutal to watch.
