76ers game box score. MCW-13pts, 7ast, and 0 turnovers. 4-20 shooting not good. I was able to watch the game when I got home and to be fair he pretty much got into the lane with ease but had a few unlucky bounces where 4-5 shots on drives the ball went in and somehow bounced out. Didn't help matters that Miles Plumlee must have blocked his shot about 4 times inside as well in the 2nd half after MCW had some success against him in the 1st. He did a much better job limiting the mistakes, but he didn't really face much ball pressure like he did yesterday. Southerland-3pts in only 6 minutes. The 76ers have a few other players who got more playing time that would be lucky to even play quality minutes in the D-league. Hopefully he gets some more burn the rest of the way.

Celtics game box score. Fab-6pts, 3rbs, 1blk in 19 minutes. Fab is heading into Javale Mcgee territory lol. Everything that he does whether good or bad makes me and his teammates laugh. Andre Drummond didn't play, so the heavyweight matchup unfortunately didn't go down.

Cuse players notable games to lookout for tomorrow is Pacers(Flynn) vs Celtics(Fab) at 11am, and Jazz(Rick The Ruler, hopefully he plays) vs Rockets at 3pm.

The Magic has a lot of young talent. Will be interesting to see them in a few years.
I will hold off on buying season tix until they field a competitive team. I do however attend games whenever there is a former Orange playing. I remember the 1st time I saw Melo when he was w/ Denver. I had great seats under the basket and was all gooned out in Orange Syracuse Regalia. Melo game me a nod prior to a free throw.

Thanks! Great to see MCW controlled the ball a lot better. Growing pains with his shot selection, but promising that he corrected himself this game and took care of the ball.

Forgot to mention Flynn had 5pts, 3ast, 3 turnovers in 11 minutes. He looked really good in the 1st half setting up Plumlee for a nice alley-oop slam and then knocked down a three. He struggled in the 2nd half though and was real loose with the ball resulting into a few turnovers. Would like to see him get some more minutes to really get a good feel for where he's at overall. Playing in Vegas for the Clippers might give him a better opportunity as far as playing time is concern.

Come on Jonny! Do the best with your run. Always been a huge fan of him.
If he tightened that up, would have been very efficient. Still might have a chance...

After watching Pacers/Sixers last night I noticed a few things.
1. While Jonny looked pretty good in the first half but Sloan just looks so much more dynamic than Jonny at this point!

2. MCW looks really solid out there! He has the quickness to blow by the smaller guards and the height to get his shot off at will.

3. If James is gonna make a roster, he can't Disappear! He needs to be all over the court diving for balls and hitting the glass! Yeah, he can hit the 3 but he needs to battle for more time.

That injury to Flynn must have really hindered his speed and explosiveness. He just looks ordinary out there and Sloan does look better. I actually thought Sloan outplayed Dion in the majority of the games in last year's summer league.

He didn't look like he was moving very well in 2nd half to me and his hops are nowhere near what they use to be.

its too bad for jonny- hopefully he could hit the booth a la jay will. funny i was just thinking about how sloan was better in the sl than dion last year. He is a decent pg.

and no offense matt as you just chimed in late but if the purpose of posting on a message board was to write the english language in its' most proper form- i would not bypass revising the use of such a word ;).. so therefore its really not necessary to kick a dead horse that has been beaten since the early 20th century

How is Rick -19 on the +/-? Does anyone know how that works?
Yeah, the Jazz got outscored by 19 while he was on the floor.

BTW everyone, if two games mean anything, keep an eye on Rudy Gobert, the rookie from France on the Jazz. He needs to get stronger, but he could be another Dikembe Mutombo in the middle. He had the longest wingspan measurement ever at the combine.

Just finished watching the games and Flynn looked much more comfortable out there and did a solid job running the team. Unfortunately as others have mentioned, his explosion and athleticism is no longer there and he'll probably never be a high caliber player again. On the flip side, he still could be a backup somewhere at a spot where he could just come in for about 15 minutes or so and keep things steady and not screw up. Fab was out there today but he didn't do much. I'm not sure what to think of him long-term. He plays hard and definitely has the physical tools, but mentally he's just not there yet. Hopefully the Celtics are patient with him and he can improve as time goes along and he gains more basketball experience. I thought Rick Jackson was solid overall today. He did get outworked by Jack Cooley inside for a few boards, but he had a couple of good blocks and scored on a nice move in the post.

Notable games for tomorrow Jazz(Ricky) vs Nets 11am, 76ers(MCW, JS) vs Thunder 1pm, Celtics(Fab) vs Rockets 3pm. The 76ers game should be a great test for MCW going up against Reggie Jackson(if he plays). Jackson aka Mr. July dropped 35pts against Peyton Siva today and had about 23 in the 4th qtr.

are we good now? i presume im not the only well educated individual who has used slang or a non standard word here or there.. sheesh lets put it to rest.

Well, let's look at what your "non-standard" word means - "regardless" - without regard for/to. "Ir-" as a prefix means "not". So "Irregardless" means "not without regard for/to" - or "not not regarding". It's a double negative. That's why it's not a word.

Not to be an Internet language cop, but let's at least use real words, or not defend the use of "non-standard" words when their meaning is without meaning.

iyiyi - ok so I am going to try not to be a d&ck in my response here but there is no need for this english language cop stuff. Get out of here with the passive aggressive BS. I understand the double negative concept ( thought it was pretty clear in my previous responses). I am not worried about impressing anyone on a message board including you ( no offense). I have to worry about proper use of the language all day at work and do just fine for myself thank you.

So let me just say I hope you feel you accomplished something so that we can move on.

Yeah, let's just stop the semantics!
Can we instead talk about basketball, maybe throw in a few remarks about how hot our next board hotty will be, etc?
Priorities, my friends.
Da grammar stuff be old: and stuff. like; that. ahahahahahahaha

I have to stick with just the sports side of things. The word " hottie" is now a flagged word and any site that has it is inaccessible at work here now... sigh.
