This is either the Bucks trying to avoid getting in trouble for tampering or this is one of the weirdest stories I've ever seen. How does one negotiate a sign-and-trade for a player without negotiating to sign the player? lol

I think Horford will be solid outside of Philly.

I was hoping the Sixers were sending the first rounder they had this year to complete this trade. I traced the origin of that pick; it's pretty funny. (If you find this kind of stuff funny). The first rounder the sixers have this year was initially OKC's, in 2016 the thunder traded it to Philly for Jerami Grant. So you're thinking, oh, that would be kind of cool, OKC gets the pick back they traded for Grant. But wait!

Then in 2017, Philly traded the pick to Orlando to get Anžejs Pasečņiks. But then Orlando traded the pick back tp Philly when they traded for Markelle Fultz! What a round tripper that would've been. But, alas, it's a 2025 "lightly protected" first instead

Does one of the Big 3 fall to them? Probably not, but you never know.

Do they trade up? One rumor out there that Warriors love Deni and would trade #2 (Wiseman) to the Bulls for #4 (Deni) and Wendell Carter.

Stay at 4 and draft Deni. Point forward a-la Pippen/ Kukoc.

Patrick Williams has been a supposed stock riser and Bulls really like him. Feel like he should be a trade back candidate though.

Another player of interest at 4 for me would be Tyrese Haliburton.

Yeah, I am not a proponent of trading Carter.. especially for Wiseman and also giving up #4. WC is a keeper imo.

Bogdan Bogdanovic never agreed to terms that is why that trade is in jeopardy.

That’s their story for now at least lol. It’s entirely possible that two incompetent franchises never thought to talk to the player that’s actually signing the contract but the “trying to avoid tampering penalties” is the more believable angle for now at least.

Either that or Bogdanovic agreed to the deal and then talked to Giannis and found out Giannis is leaving and is backing out now but that’s probably the least likely of the 3 theories.

Yup! Detroit will become one of the secondary teams I follow and root for, with Weaver there. Forever grateful to that guy for his role in the greatest moment of my life as a sports fan.

Tampering won’t be real this offseason.
Atleast it shouldn’t.
I don’t believe Bogdanevic would play ball if that was the story.
I think it’s most likely Sacramento screwed up.
