Watching this draft I realize how little I followed the NCAA last season.

it seems impossible to believe that the Bucks could have reached an agreement on a contract for Bogdanovic without talking to him. That’s how sign and trades work. Player negotiates a deal with the new team and then the two teams negotiate the trade. And Windhorst and Bobby Marks even knew how much Bogdanovic had signed for already and that Bogdanovic had talked to Giannis about teaming up before he agreed to the deal. It just doesn’t make much sense that ALL of this reporting was wrong.

We’ll see on Friday but just seems unfathomable to me.

I think the Bucks were getting threatened with losing picks, which would screw up the Jrue deal. So they have chose to walk away from this one. Or I could be entirely wrong and the deal comes through later in a slightly different form.

I'm here. I knew Trading that far up for Lamelo was a long shot. That being said I was hoping LaMelo would have been a guy to dictate where he wanted to go and maybe stirred his way to New York or a bigger Market. It amazes me why more big time guys don't do this.

The Knicks have had cap space several times in FA to get names. Players don't even have to force their way there. It is an easy path for them -- and they basically all choose to pass.

No tourney clearly plays a part in none of these guys really being household names.
