Rangers game Sunday afternoon in Tampa and they have to travel real late tonight. So much better.

Yup. I’ll undoubtedly watch that entire game.

The basketball game? Probably the first half and then we’ll see. I’m not losing sleep over these games, I know that much.

People used to smoke everywhere. Bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, stores, offices. The worst was airlines with smoking and non-smoking sections. Like it made a difference. If you went out at night, your clothes and hair smelled really smokey the next morning. New York was one of the first states to enact a ban on indoor smoking and that was not until 2003 although many places, like basketball arenas started before that.

I can’t even stand when someone’s smoking in the car ahead of me when I’m driving and it goes into my cabin. Smoking and non smoking restaurants as a kid were as pointless as the airplane sections as well. Just a different world not too long ago. I can’t believe smoking was widely accepted for so long especially with the risks associated with it and the illness it causes.

Shouldn’t the finals be in the same mould as the regular season if we’re trying to crown the best team in a given season? Well how often does a team play 1 game in 5 nights during the regular season… ? Cause that is the interval from after game 1 to game 3… that’s just dumb and fails to reward depth / fitness levels of teams..
