I dont remember an entire Dline being picked that early, not even Bama or Ohio st. Louis Riddick, who i love and is the best analyst, commented on how any team moved the ball against them . Well , we did. This draft and its depth shows just how much parity there is talent wise in the college game and that any win FCS or FBS has value!

Two drafts ago on NFL Network Mike Mayock said when talking about all of the Clemson guys who were selected he said every time I broke down a Clemson guy when he was playing NC State my eyes went straight to the NC State guys and how that team was loaded with NFL Talent. He was 100% spot on correct.

NC State has been a recruiting machine the past 5 years and are building themselves a very strong program. They are on the verge of becoming a major player in the ACC

Recruiting machine? They are a fringe top 40 recruiting team. They hit on a few underrated guys the past few years but UNC has recruited at a higher rate.

Nc st fans are like rutgers fans is where i stand

I hate them the most. Took my wife and son and had to sit in front of the biggest douche in the stadium. Would not sit down the whole game. Went out to eat before the game and was snubbed by most of the fans in the restaurant. Some were nice and had some southern hospitality, but not most of them.

I hope we kick them in the teeth in the future!!

Instead of questioning NC State's players (clearly they are doing something right just watch the NFL Draft) question the people who rank/grade the recruiting classes cause they are dead wrong alot and have been recently on NC State. They are better at recruiting than whatever grade some joe-blow is giving them

But in 2019 Clemson will have 3 defensive linemen picked in the 1st and 2 rounds and maybe a fourth d-linemen go early round 3 or late round 2. Clemson is going to be impossible to block this upcoming year and is in store for a huge 2018 season

Yeah, we have plenty of tough games but the only one where I give us basically no chance to win is Clemson. They are going to be a monster(again)

I love seeing all these ND and NC State kids getting drafted early - means they’ll have less talent/experience when they face SU this year.

SU almost beat NCSU this year with all those NFL players on the field. I’m expecting the Orange to beat them in 2018.

Our peer schools since 1999, (in the power conferences) are Iowa State, Kentucky, Colorado, Baylor, North Carolina, Washington State, Rutgers and Purdue:

Every October, we seem to take down a highly ranked team in the Dome. The only two Dome games in October this upcoming season are UNC and NC State. Will either of them be ranked? Or do we shoot for Florida State in September or Louisville in November?

State has been building towards that point for a long time. They had 8 senior starters on defense alone. I'm not saying they haven't had some good recruits come through, but they aren't exactly beating out any big programs for players.

I agree. The only thing going for us is that we have nothing to lose.

State has been building towards that point for a long time. They had 8 senior starters on defense alone. I'm not saying they haven't had some good recruits come through, but they aren't exactly beating out any big programs for players.

They likely suffer a signifiacant drop off, at least in the first half of the season. Fortunately for them, defense is easier to get than offense.
