Zags can beat Purdue, too. Edey isn't going to dominate and Zags shot 6-32 from deep against them in Hawaii. Don't think that happens again the way they've been playing.

Izzo had his team work out in full pads yesterday.
Mich St in their puke green unis.

I don't care who wins in this one. I show no "ACC allegiance" for Duke or UNC.

Perhaps over the game the interest to see a little chaos and a "1-9" upset to go down might come up - but it's also Michigan St, so.

I typically almost always choose 8/9 over 1 (taking jerseys out of play). But I just know that freaking team, you know who, is waiting out there watching everybody fail around them.

9 straight sweet 16's by Gonzaga. Amazing run, even without a national title.

Playing with some numbers here. Yes it makes easier to make sweet 16's when you are a #1 seed. But its still a low probability to do it 9 times in a row. The odds of reaching the sweet 16 nine times in a row from Gonzaga's seeds over the past 9 years is 0.54%.

Here are the historical odds for each seed line they have been granted to make sweet 16

#1 seed (4 times) - 84.3%
#2 seed - 62.5%
#3 seed - 52.6%
#4 seed - 47.4%
#5 seed - 34.2%
#11 seed - 17.1%

Game is being reffed like it's in Chapel Hill

If Izzo were to win another title, it would be the biggest gap between a coach winning two titles by far (at least 24 years)

Pitino's titles are 17 years apart (1996 and 2013*)
Bill Self 14 years (2008 and 2022)
Branch McCracken 13 years (1940 and 1953)
Dean Smith 11 years (1982 and 1993)
