Great game. Finish that will be played over and over for a very long time.
Even better than I imaginedHope we get a half court buzzer beater
Yes they changed the rule a while ago.Is the rule different now than it was in 1987? When UCLA hit that shot to tie it, the clock stopped at 3.3 seconds. When Smart hit his shot in 1987 there were 4 seconds on the clock and the clock kept running. We inbounded with 1 second.
Ugh you triggered my hoops PTSDIs the rule different now than it was in 1987? When UCLA hit that shot to tie it, the clock stopped at 3.3 seconds. When Smart hit his shot in 1987 there were 4 seconds on the clock and the clock kept running. We inbounded with 1 second.
UCLA was playing phenomenal basketball during the tournament, only to be outdone by the best team in the nation this year. And barely! What a tough ending for UCLA. Incredible run and yet they were soooooo close

For me, nothing will top 6OTs, but this was great. That was the best college hoops game I’ve ever seen.
the unreal offensive play by both teams, the drama, what was on the line and now the finish. Just incredible.
Thank god they eventually changed that stupid ass ruleYes.
It's been like this for as long as I remember. I think after all baskets in the last minute the clock stops. They probably changed the rule not that long after the 1987 game.
Our game was a catalyst for the rule change.Yes.

Yes of course but this had better offensive play and had far more on the line. Just insane. For me, nothing will top 6OTs, but this was great.
