If I was a one-bid/16-seed type conference like the SWAC, I would do away with the conference tournament, and have your regular season champion and strongest team represent you in the NCAA. To avoid a situation where you have an awful team like Texas Southern make it.

I saw part of the 1st half and at that time all 5 of their starters had made at least one 3 pointer.
