Great first half from Siena. However they can’t bet on Duke going 2/15 from 3 again.

This is true however the looks Duke got from 3 were well defended. If Siena comes out and keeps this lead a while or extends it those 3s get much harder too.

I fully expect Duke will do enough to win but what we’ve seen so far is impressive from Gerry especially with a team that’s really got almost no depth.

Accurate. On CBS with a national audience this just went from a local market story on gmac to a national story. At least for now.

The question was always who can we find that will get their guys playing their best hoops against the best competition in March. That wasn’t gmac but tough to deny after what we just saw.

The defensive pressure and rebounding have been so impressive. Our team this year lost almost every 50/50 ball. It’s a reflection of coaching without a doubt.

Mr Briancuse, I seem to recall a number of posters saying Coach GMAC wasn’t ready for the big time and it would be advisable that he follow Byron Hodgkins footsteps into a league like the A10 or American for a few years. Then, only after proving himself there, would he be deemed ready for a big time job like Syracuse. The implication of such advice is that Coach GMAC can’t coach at a high level yet.

But you knocked his coaching along with a lot of other people here. Don't worry about your Dukie's though. The second half will wear Siena down. Always has been. There was a story I remember reading long ago where I think JB reminisced about going to a HS game and this dude is out there playing like a crazy person and JB asks who it was. He’s told he has like 50 points and his team was up 40 and the guy was playing like they were down 10 with 4 to play. GMAC

This is a prime example of why you let things play out. We have all been freaking out for a week, and turns out GMAC is a good coach. It is a good thing the committee didn’t ask us our opinions.

I think most people weren’t freaking out about gmac, hop being an option was the bigger problem.
