EXACTLY. The pedigree, that budget, that Nike money, those facilities, those academics, those grad schools/programs. They've missed the playoffs something like five or six of the past seasons. His teams have always underachieved and if I recall correctly, they barely made the playoffs when they went on a run and won the NC.

I saw this one coming. And I hoped it would happen. So long, UNC!

Nope. Dave seems like a perpetual angry grump. He was the Cornell coach when I played and screamed so much that by the second quarter he needed to hold up cards to call the d-package. One quarter and he'd lost his voice. Lacrosse is simply fun to play, who wants a guy like that on the sideline?

And Dominic took a cheap shot at a Richmond player really late, after the game was already lost. Dirty play. And I'm not buying his "high volume" nonsense. Dude took 12 shots today, they lost. Littlejohn and Creo, the highest number shooters for Richmond took 6. Look who won?!

Goodbye, UNC! I can't imagine another blue chip program allowing Breschi to stick around after his lackluster results the past 7-8 years.

Duffy wasn't hurt, he was going full speed and got plenty of dodges.

He got knocked down and lost his stick twice in the last minute. Ouch. Going to be a long off season for Owen and Dominic. Worked over at home...that vaunted UNC D, with Dave P. at the helm, gives up 11 in the second half. Dave's gonna have a long night.

Breschi’s contract expires in 2026. Not sure of the contract situation of many other coaches, but that’s certainly going to raise questions.

I understand their two best players were supposedly hurt at the end of the year, but how many 5 stars on this roster? Their senior class was given the number one designation as freshmen, and I don’t think any of them contributed much at all this season. Develop other guys!

I get this is a rebuild, but why trust the guy to oversee the rebuild who led to this down turn in the first place? Very curious if they give him an extension or make him coach out the season, which they did last time before they gave him an extension. Very weird!

The technical difficulties with the TV feed of the Penn St - Colgate game is totally unacceptable. What Disney/ESPN don't make enough money to produce a technical difficulty free game? Or can we blame it on Penn St? It's almost unwatchable. Radio would be better. Maybe they should have played the game in Hamilton.
