NCAA Sweet Sixteen Games for Fri March 28

The announcer on Purdue's errant lob pass, "that was ambitious."

Not sure how the officials don't call the push off on Houston when it's THAT in their face...if I'm Purdue fan I'm not super happy with the officiating over the last few minutes. That one out of bounds where Houston got a three (after getting the ball back), even in real time it was pretty clearly off Houston...not sure how you miss that one standing a foot away.

I really wish they could have found a way to stop some of these games even more times in the last 2 minutes. That really would have made the viewing experience even more fun.

Maybe review every dribble to make sure the ball hits the floor?

I didn’t think it was a blatant or egregious push-off, there was contact for sure, but are you calling it just because Smith fell down? It’s a judgment call. Houston also objectively had two points taken off the board with a basket interference/goaltending that wasn’t called on Purdue at the end of the 1st…

I'd call it because the arm fully extended as he pushed off...I think that's usually the difference between clearing space and a push

Oh, I didn't see that one. I started watching with about 8 to play.

ACC currently has as many teams in the Elite 8 as the B12 and more than the B1G, Big East, MWC. Good chance that the B1G keeps their no titles streak going.
? I am assuming you are referring to men's basketball.

I’m not saying anything profound here, but I love Cooper Flagg’s game. I still think he’s the closest thing to a healthy Grant Hill (who was a Top 5 player in the NBA until his injuries) that I can remember.

Kawhi Leonard.

His parents are insufferable. I don’t care about them at all.

Kawhi is obviously a great player, but he only averages 3 assists per game in his career. I see Flagg as being closer to say 7-8 assists as a point forward once he hits his stride (similar to Hill). And conversely I don’t see Flagg as the lock down defender Kawhi is.

You’re right on the assists, but I think you may be stereotyping him a bit on the other end. I think his defense is ahead of his offense. He was easily the best defender in college this year.

He's also a gym rat, a hard worker, and probably a bad dancer (kidding).

I double checked advanced stats and I agree re: the defense. He has very high DBPM and DWS.
