NCAA Sweet Sixteen Games Thread for Fri Mar 27

interesting nugget on the Westwood One broadcast. Scheyer is trying to win a NC as a player and coach. The guy did not list the others. Without looking it up, I am guessing Bobby Knight, Kevin Ollie and John Wooden (I think he won a Helms Championship in the 1920s with Purdue, the equivalent then of a NC). Anybody got any other guesses? Gerry could do it!
Speaking of Wooden, one of the sideline reporters was referencing some coaching records and referred to him as one of the greatest coaches in NCAA history. Uh ya think? Ten titles in 12 years and the other two years were 1974 when they lost in the National Semifinal to NC State in double OT and in 1966 when Texas Western won as Alcindor had to sit out that year as freshmen were ineligible.

Hey Nate, Liberace called. He wants his jacket back.

The St John's run reminds me of that 2nd half Pittino's Louisville team put on us in that Big East tourney game, but Duke's showing some fight.
