It hasn’t been close for 15 years.

I live in CT and I guess I hate them. But I also kinda don’t. We’re just not in their league. It’s depressing.

They blew past us. Being back in the Big East was a great move for them.

These games like Houston last night, or Iowa State tonight, where the refs are just like, "they play soooooo gritty...so they can foul" always annoy me.

The refs are letting nearly everything go this game. Like an old Pistons Celtics game from way back.

St John's bought into their hot shooting and ignored the post up game. Can't get to the line hoisting threes.

Something to note- of the remaining teams still playing including right now only 2 are in the top 100 in Adjusted Tempo per Ken Pom and 8 are outside the top 200.

Was just thinking the same thing. Iowa state is missing their best player. There have been better recent Tennessee teams.

The St John's run reminds me of that 2nd half Pittino's Louisville team put on us in that Big East tourney game, but Duke's showing some fight.

After we played 2 games plus 7 OTs in 2 nights. No gas left in the tank

The thing that's crazy is that they were the laughing stock of the Big East in the 80s with Dom Perno as their coach. They had 3 decent players in the 80s, Earl Kelley, Corny Thompson and Chuck Aleksinas, that was it. UConn, Providence and Seton Hall battled it out to stay out of last place in the conference. Providence only got good when Pitino came around in the mid-80s.

That's what kills me about some people thinking Oats is a great coach. He's a good coach but you can't win with his style of play on the offensive end by chucking up 3's and no development of a few bigs to score inside. Most of the teams left in the tourney have those inside/outside players. Also Oats teams aren't the greatest defensive teams either.

I hate Oats ever since he let an accessory to a murder play, I'm surprised he didn't let Mr. 2 and a half pounds of pot for myself play.

I think I read something yesterday that they allowed him to travel to the game and like you noted I was thinking they were going to let him play too smh.
