The last bracket I saw (see below) had Syracuse in Seattle as a 6 seed, slated to play 11 seed Gonzaga in the first round. If they win that one, they get to play 3 seed Washington.

Very fair, especially after banishing them to the Black Mountain Hills of Dakota last year.

Pods seem too geographic / regional. Three fairly local teams and one outsider. Are they trying to save on travel costs or is this really a thing in the women's tourney?

Do they jump teams a seed line or two just to make it work out for travel, or does the overall seeding look fair to those who are knowledgeable?

The women got effin hosed by NCAA. When they beat Iowa St. they have to Play UCONN on their home court. The NCAA had it in for SU this year.
