ND Voted on BE TV Contract

Just read on Waters' chat that ND got to cast a vote, as did the basketball onlies, on the ESPN TV football contract. Are you kidding me? No wonder the league is so dysfunctional. That is just unbelievable.

The kicker was that they recommended the BE abstain.

notre dame and rutgers pushed the hardest against it. the pitt guy didn't help matters by siding with them eventually.

Call me crazy for saying this, but I'm darn glad they didn't take it.

Turning that deal down was the right idea they could have made more in the open market. Accepting that deal would not have changed much as to what happened becouse it was a lowball lets see if they are dumb enough to take ideal.(like the ACC's deal)
