They were more likely to get calls when attempting two point shots and we got more free throws out of it when fouled. The difference was significant. Despite our perception that we weren’t “getting the calls”, the numbers suggest that we got plenty of them.


Comments:

- I’m amazed Dolezaj got 1 assists in that game. I thought he had more alley-oops to Chukwu than that.

- The shot distribution in that awful performance vs. BC: Howard 20, Battle 18, Brissett 8, Chukwu 3, Dolezaj/Moyer: 1. In this game: 8-9-11-7-7. This is what happens when they have to guard everyone.

- Another stat that surprised me after having watched the game: Wake got 14 offensive rebounds to our 7? I guess that includes recovering the loose balls after our blocks. They got several of those.

- Let me repeat the breakdown by quarters: 22-7, 8-17, 22-13, 21-27. If we are to beat UNC, or win many more games after that, we have to keep the pressure on the other team for 40 minutes.
