Marrone was in GA even before the ACC move. I'm sure the ACC move is one of the reasons Pitt is going for it. Pitt also has a new coach though, I'm not sure what kind of ties he has.

Just remember, Marrone spent four years at G Tech, a year at Georgia, and a year at Tennessee. Mix that in with Adkins and you have to very important recruiters that are very familiar with the state. We also have a heavy presence in Michigan and Ohio thanks to Wheatley and now Rob Moore is learning the ropes with Wheatley in those areas.
