Sorry for targeting you because you're not the only one saying it, but:Elmore should stay on the defensive side imo
That he’s a body that can give our interior a quick breather.Sorry for targeting you because you're not the only one saying it, but:
What did you see from Elmore during his cameos on defense during the 2019 season that makes you think he should stay there?
He was used all the time in 2018, both as a lead blocker and as a blocking tight end. Devito's different game changed that, but I think he still has more value on O than D.That he’s a body that can give our interior a quick breather.
I don’t think he impacts blocking or moves the pile on well enough, from what I’ve seen, to keep him on O.

You know far more about these things than I do. I appreciate your input.I thought that for not Playing the position seriously, Elmore was very good at locking up the OL. I recall numerous times where he would get his arms fully extended and his lower body/hips would shift towards the gap he had responsibility for. I remember saying to someone his impressive it was with presumed minimal reps. For Elmore to be helpful, he doesn’t have to be a TGL expert. He needs to take in the POA, clog gaps, not get blown back, and allot the LB core to do their job freely. I’m on team DT for Elmore.
