Not sure if he has an offer yet, but former UL commit WR Corey Cooper from NC contacted by Coach Lester already per twitter:

He is a former ARK recruit of Coach McDonald, as if we need another indication that he will be soon on the staff officially. He has a ton of BCS offers.

That's what we pay them for...gotta luv it. Seems like we are suddenly getting a jolt of some good news, not only in players but coaches. Nice to see things apparently turning around so quickly.

Look at this Cooper kid's timeline. It's about 50 retweets of bonehead Arkansas fans saying "come be a hog" or "look how much love you're getting from UA". It's getting ridiculous.

My understanding with Belfort is that he is a terrific prospect, had a great senior season but...is not a good student. Has no chance of qualifying and is so far away that he will have to JUCO; prep school is not an option. Try again in 2 years.

My guess the Edwards thing is us backing off because of the news as much as him looking elsewhere. This is just my opinion, based on nothing else, but I don't think the program needs the headache.

Smith is the guy who brings a different skill set to the roster.
