New Starting QB on Friday?

I've posted this before but Rich can really ball. He has looked good in the practices I've watched. Great athlete.

If he can scramble to create passing opportunities and running first downs, I am all in on this type of player. The incumbent does not scramble and look to pass which, in my view, is a killer flaw.

This is the game you try something different. Four games left. You can play Luke and if you win, perhaps he gets the rest of the year. If we can't move the ball, he can still keep his RS having only played in 3 games and you can then try another QB for the last 3 games and preserve their RS or just stick with Rickie.

I have no clue if Carney will be better than Collins but after the 4 games Collins has just put on tape you have to try something else. The Collins tape is beyond awful.

I don't think Rickie starts. Maybe he could get some PT if its like some special read option running play packages though, but I still think thats is unlikely. I just don't think we see much of Rickie this week.

You can always play Rickie in Q4 of any game to see if he lights a spark that causes the snowball to catch fire ... but one scoring drive per first three quarters is a very low bar for even a QB#3 to try to beat...

He also said he saw the problems and that's why he recruited Angeli. Translation: We have NOBODY ready to run this team at a competitive level, not Rickie, not Rich, not Luke, not Bob, not Daryl or his other brother Daryl, and not Howdy Doody. Why is everyone in such a hurry to throw these rookies into the meat grinder and get them hearing footsteps before they can read a defense?

Our season ended when Angeli went down. The coaches knew it.

Can anyone here tell me a time where we ended a season .500 or better where we lost the starter in the first 4 games due to injury?

Really, what I want to see is a team comprised of all the dads. They’re really starting to show their influence this year!
