Odd that YBR / PP / TS only require you to wear a mask. They jam 6-7 people around each table game without any physical barriers. Every slot machine is open.
Albany, N.Y. — Nontribal casinos in New York can reopen Sept. 9, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said today.
That includes del Lago Resort Casino in Seneca County, west of Syracuse. The state’s nontribal casinos are among the last businesses to reopen following months of shutdowns due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The casinos must meet certain air filtration requirements and limit capacity to 25% of normal levels, Cuomo said during a conference call with reporters. Masks will be required and patrons must follow social distancing guidelines.
Table games will not be allowed unless casinos place physical barriers between players, state Budget Director Robert Mujica said. Any plan to do that would have to be approved by the New York State Gaming Commission.
Casinos will also have to ensure players at slots and other gaming machines remain 6 feet apart unless approved barriers are placed between them.
