didn't gross mention something about the big east will help SU come up with another OOC game for next year?

i hope gross goes out and finds a heavyweight to play. anyone with info?

SDSU is projected top 20. Athlon has us at 13 and SDSU at 14. Projected as best team outside of a power conf and best team on the left coast. May well be the best mid-major.

If you went by what defines a mid-major, then no SDSU is not. The MWC was a top 4 RPI conf 2 years ago and top 5 last year. So not the Big East by any means. But, better than some major conferences. Yes, I realized RPI isn't the end all be all. But, it's one measuring stick.

Also for the last 5 years, SDSU has the best record in the west and we have a 9 or 10 straight wins vs. the Pac 12.
