NFL changes blackout rules

Home teams now will have the option of selling only 85% of game tickets to avoid a blackout in their local TV market. Previously, teams had to sell out games or receive an exception from the league for the game to be shown on local TV.

It's a step in the right direction, but I don't think there should be any blackouts at all. The NFL gladly accepts taxpayer money to fund stadiums, but then tells those taxpayers they can't watch. I love the game, but the NFL as an organization is a giant Pig.
