NFL Combine Starts Today

We know about slayton's insane leg power but i wonder how he will do on the bench. Custis will pass the eye test but he can't have stone hands out there.

Slayton a year ago. 3 slingshot reps, about 430/440. Slingshot helps 8-10%. So about 430-440 max. 31-32 reps. Another year of gains, (say 30-40lbs?), gives 5-6 more reps.

I'll guess 35-38 reps, with a final guess of 37.

Here's his reps for rare disease for the combine. He's estimating 28. Guys can be pretty beat by bench day, so I'm guessing he took a handful off. I'm guessing he gets closer to his potential. Hickey was good for 40, but put up 35 at the combine. (I should probably re-guess 33)

28 reps = Approx 412, max

When asked what Custis’ goal is, he needs to amswer...to run down field on specials and make every goddamn tackle possible in every goddamn game.

I heard a rumor the Giants were going to pick Nassib up again with thoughts of making him the starter next year. Any validity to that?

Don’t get the idiot ‘talent evaluators’ on here started, you know he’s going to be 1st rounder, right??

I’ve still yet to cash in on all those bets I won...

I think Chris goes in the 4th round Custis 6th.

I actually think you could flip flop those. I think that ultimately Slayton has a better/longer NFL career, but I think that Custis will be too much for some GM's to pass on. IF...and thats huge...he catches the ball well during workouts.

I’ll find it interesting to see whether or not measurements get you drafted...

JC is not the WR Amba or Ish were at Syracuse, so if he’s drafted, we know. He is absolutely a unique physical specimen and by all accounts a great young man.

I do hope he gets drafted ofcourse and carves out a niche for himself.

I think Slayton becomes one of those guys that’s on a roster for over a decade. Not sure what the ceiling is, but, Chris has the goods.

Here’s to health & happiness for both, glad they were Orange!
