Gase didn’t deserve a second HC but I think he is qualified for a position coach job.
Which is what he is rumored to get from NE.

To no surprise the Birds are taking tomorrow off. Jim Schwartz is taking off next year (letting his contract expire and possibly retiring). Sounds like Doug will be back... why?!

Marrone has done the honourable thing and not talked to the press how the Jaguars basically tanked this season by not spending their cap space, trading all their veterans and left a QB situation that is only better than NE.

He took one for the organization and he will get fired Monday.
Marrone will have a job in the league if he wants to coach next year but outside of becoming an interim HC for a fired coach on staff I don’t see him as an NFL HC after tomorrow.

Philly’s Pederson is probably getting another year because of SB 52. It’s been a bad year but Philly has some talent just needs to clean things up on the OL.

I like Doug coming back. What Doug couldn't do this year was to camouflage all the roster weaknesses which lay at the feet of Howie Roseman. How many wasted draft picks does Howie get before he's shown the door?

You think the Eagles part ways with Wentz or have a true competition next training camp between Wentz and Hurts?

NFC East will be wide open next year.

Of course i think Gase’s agent leaked it so he could see what type of market there actually is for the guy who has been pathetic as Jets HC.

If it didn’t happen it wouldn’t bother me.
Who is next in line in Buffalo if/when Daboil gets his chance as a HC.

I think the Birds might be in that 'if you have two starting quarterbacks, you don't really have a starting QB' hole. I see Wentz as having been shell-shocked this year, and I'm not convinced that he's ever gonna find his way back.

I'm in the camp that thinks they bring Wentz back. Probably the minority opinion at this point as a lot of Philly fans want to move on via trade. Hurts has been fun to watch, but he has not been accurate either. Eagles didn't do Carson any favors in play designs. Always felt he would have been better off with more designed roll outs this year with all the line issues. They did more of that with Hurts the last few weeks.

Eagles will still have talent, sure, but they aren't getting any younger. And Roseman has been killing our drafts... and not the good killing it.

I haven’t heard any names. We aren’t in position to promote from within (I don’t think.)

I dunno. He's had some serious injuries. I think Peterson would have gotten him out of the pocket more if he thought Wentz could handle it. Maybe the tread on Wentz's tires is more that of an RB than a QB. And, yes, they had a bleepload of injuries on the O-line.

I'm convinced the Birds need a new GM. Howie's strength has been patching a team's weaknesses thru the waiver wire. But the core is too decimated, IMO, to simply patch things. Get rid of Howie!
