Jets would be stupid to hire Pederson. He has been exposed as a puppet.
Jets seem like they could hire somebody like Marvin Lewis.

I don't disagree on Pederson the puppet, but there are strong connections there with Joe Douglas. There is supposedly a team in need of a coach that is interested in a currently under contract coach that has been rumored to be available/ or will be let go. Doug sounds like that coach.

He succeeded this year with a big-armed QB who once had shaky accuracy (for the fix-Wentz crowd). Also coached under Saban and Belichick and had success without them. Perhaps leadership rubbed off, too.

If I were Houston I would want 3 number 1 picks for Watson as the starting price I think that 2021 2nd becomes negotiable to another first as well.

I say it every game .. but special teams are horrific in modern day NFL .. there’s a hold or block in the back or fumble on so many punt returns that I would never return a punt .. just fair catch it or let it go .. how many good returns are there a year relative to disaster plays or negative plays ?Why haven’t the “analytics” warriors won this battle ?

It's not impossible, but I'll be surprised if their GM's first move in his career is to trade the team's biggest star to essentially get their own pick back.

I'll expect Watson to remain in Houston until a trade is officially announced.
