The Super Bowl LI rematch between the Patriots and Falcons will be in Week 7 at Gillette Stadium: Oct. 22, Sunday night football.
I don't think ive ever been so unenthused to see a rematch 1 year later.

if the falcons didn't pull a seahawks and held on and won the game like they both shouldve, then id be interested.

patsies 42 falcons 13

It's so awesome to see. Greatest comeback in SB history I doubt it will ever be surpassed.

it shouldn't.

I still cant believe it happened in the 1st place.

ridiculous.

when I was in Disney last week there was a couple of chowda-heads with that on the front of a shirt and the final on the back.

from ESPN...

"The Giants Rest Deficit

Overall, the Giants might have the NFL's least enviable schedule, based on ESPN senior analytics specialist Brian Burke's analysis. They'll have an NFL-high four games against teams coming off their bye and a net total of minus-22 days of rest compared to their opponents. (The next-highest lack of rest days belongs to the Detroit Lions at minus-12.)

Based on some analysis from Football Outsiders on how relative rest affects competitiveness...suffice it to say, you want to avoid playing teams who are coming off their bye.

Finally, the Giants have four trips into the Mountain or Pacific time zones, giving them more travel miles than any East Coast team with the exception of the Jaguars, who have a home game in London."

super!!!

Every 14 years the East teams get this type of season schedule when they play both West divisions as crossovers.

2008 the Patriots played at Seattle, at San Francisco, at Oakland, at San Diego all during one season.
There is no crying in scheduling.

Look at Pats week 10 thru 15.
At Denver
At Mexico City-Oakland
Miami
At Buffalo
At Miami MNF
At Pittsburgh

5 road games in 6 weeks.

And you will probably win 4 of them.

Tired of playing both the Giants and the night game for an opener. Along with the Eagles to end the season. Seems to be the same opener and closer for the past few years.

Also dislike that the Cowboys only have like 2 or 3 early games all year.

Atleast you get them at full strength and vice versa.

I always wanted to play a tough first game because the team is healthy.

Same here, we have two 1 pm games, and one of them is the last game, which could easily be flexed, I don't think an Nfl team has ever played that few 1 pm games.

Except for the occasional night game or 4PM game, NFL football should be played at 1PM.

No matter who you are, you should have more than two 1PM games. I know, I know, $$$$$.

You'll probably get flexed out of one. ;)

Cowboys/Patriots/Raiders/Broncos/Giants all got 5 Primetime games. Chiefs got 6 primetime games .

That is insane the Cowboys have only 2 1pm starts.

The Patriots got 9 1pm starts, 2 4:25 games, 5 night games.

Giants got 6 1pms, 6 430s and 4 nights...not 5, which is how they usually get scheduled.

Then flexed into 1 more.

I'd imagine 1, if not both, of the last 2 home games in December scheduled for 1 (iggs and skins)... get flexed to later.

Personally, I love the 4s for home and exotic night aways like thurs or sats.

It allows me to watch more football.

Yeah I got wrong info for you Gang Green fans
Week 1 at Buffalo
Week 2 at Oakland
Week 16 home LA Chargers
Week 17 at New England

I am disappointed the NFL is burying at Jets-Pats game for week 17 when it's likely the Pats won't have much to play for.

I like Pats-Jets games to atleast mean something.

Jets get the guaranteed infield dirt game

This is kind of interesting. How the teams find out their schedule - the Rams in this case. Hint: They don't watch the show on the NFL network.

Watch: Rams share inside look at schedule release call
the fact that Francesa had the full Giants schedule around 1245, told me that the Giants were pissed with it and figured...why not just give it to Mike and let all NY know what and how crappy it is and maybe in the process ruin a little ratings and their devalue their stupid show.

The video does shed some light on how so much information is leaked, that's for sure.

A lot of the schedules got leaked early, the Cowboys didn't, I don't know how, but somehow it didn't.

Patriots offense right now:

QB
Tom Brady

RB
Gillislee
Lewis
White
Burkhead

WR
Edelman
Cooks
Hogan
Mitchell
Amendola

TE
Gronk
Allen

They have a weakness at 5th WR.

somebody is going to beat them in the AFC Champ and then get steamrolled in the SuperBowl by the Giants, as they already would've played their bowl 2 weeks earlier.

it will be like the 2003 Yankees in the WS.

it was over before I sobered up from Aaron Boone...

2003 ALCs killed the Yanks.
They had to use Mussina and Clemons a ton in game 7.
It killed your WS rotation.

Plus Beckett was a stud.

AFC I really only fear Denver if they have a QB.

Pittsburgh's style is perfect for NE.

Oakland we need to see their D improve.
Houston has no QB.

Pats are in the AFC title game.

Barring an injury they have a 2 game schedule next year AFC title game and SB.

becket. He had 1 good game, he lost his 1st start.

Blame this on David Wells for losing game 1 and being too fat to go more than 1 inning for game 5. Clemens sucked too. Moose won and was ready for game 7.

If Yanks win, Pettitte is in MVP conversation (unless Moose wins)He pitched v becket to 2 runs through 7 and got a W going 8 2/3 in game 2.

Denver won't have a QB.

Oakland still a ?, but fits the 'oh my god we beat the pats!! Let's party!!' Then boom the SB crushes them...profile.

Pitt will be good as long as Ben stands...

Bet the under there.
