Unless you're a blue blood program, all it takes is one bad hire to kill you. For some reason the fans and administration down there didn't realize they had an excellent head coach in Dixon. They could have hung onto him if they wanted. And anyone with an IQ above 50 knew that Kevin Stallings was a terrible hire.

Stallings took Vandy to seven NCAA tourneys including a couple Sweet 16s and took Illinois State to the tourney multiple times before that. It didn't seem like there was anything in his resume (that I'm aware of) that would have predicted Pitt would be this bad under him.

I watch a little bit of it and then switched to the Westminister Dog Show pregame show they had on. I'm sure I won't switch back no matter how compelling the game gets. The dog show will most likely have my undivided attention.

i thought uconn was crazy to have given ollie a rumored $10m buyout clause . . . but according to this article, stallings has the same clause.
