Do you know that to be true? If so provide truth. We stick with the ones that have supported the university and players. Not the one that says he will but doesn’t.

Look if you feel a certain way about him that’s fine. Im totally neutral on both parties. Don’t interact with either. No ties to either. It’s fine to not care for someone but I can’t say he’s right or wrong. You may be correct, but we do know that AW could simply donate to a collective and this would all be a mute point, so the "fault" really only comes into play if Adam's money only comes on his terms. Although I am admittedly not a fan of AW, it is his money and he has the right to place certain strings that are attached to his donations and the university also has the right to pass.
I mean, sometimes it is either/or. If Weistman isn’t a big donor, and he pisses off our real mega donors, then we should tell him to pound sand.It shouldn’t be either or! The value shouldn’t have Bering on whether one stays or goes. Seems childish if that is what has happened.
Very plausible. Again no idea but isn’t also possible Lallys didn’t care for AW and BOT felt it made sense to push him away? If so I don’t feel the way other feel toward other donors have any business. The goal is to help the school at the end of the day. Im playing devil advocate. What if it’s Lallys sour grapes?I mean, sometimes it is either/or. If Weistman isn’t a big donor, and he pisses off our real mega donors, then we should tell him to pound sand.
Someone needs to explain to me how this isn’t Weistman having a big bowl of sour grapes over the Lallys ACTUALLY donating money. I get the feeling that this guy is so upset at not being the center of attention that he has actually trying to cause problems with our mega donors.
I just think AW wants to help himself and promote himself first and help SU second (ride on his coattail). He's the only donor or potential donor that cares about the school after himself.Very plausible. I hope it isn’t either to be fair but there has to be egos on both sides of this.

Who said he is getting preferred treatment?Ok..Just a quick Q.
Why should AW get better/preferential treatment for donating less money than our largest donors?
And before some of you say "who cares
Why's that matter, etc"
I've seen a lot of posts on this site over the last couple years about the new seats and donor ranks where people would absolutely relate more to the Lallys than AW. Lets not be hypocritical here.
Let's all take a step back and look at this objectively. Most of the facts are all out there with a big of digging on SM (X, IG).
AW can sign up and level up like the rest of us.
He didn’t say it didn’t help him. It seems he believes it was helpful to both sides (whether you agree or not). That doesn’t bother me personally. If it’s donor having a problem with another that should not happen eitherI just think AW wants to help himself and promote himself first and help SU second (ride on his coattail). He's the only donor or potential donor that cares about the school after himself.
Every other major donor helps SU because they care about the school and the student-athletes.
Agreed It seems so petty to not have both parties doing what they do for SU as long as SU agrees with it.We need some PR control. The school needs to rein this in.
Talk to Lally’s and AW and fix this. One way or another. Tell AW to kick rocks and or tell Lally’s to chill out about him.
Seems like SU is taking the stick head in sand approach. Do not understand how this has been allowed to grow and fester like it has.
If AW won’t agree to the overall collective there’s probably nothing that can be fixed. Having decentralized NIL is what got SU behind in the first place. We are in a better position now than when AW was around. I am going to assume that it may upset him that he’s not at the center of it.We need some PR control. The school needs to rein this in.

Who said he is getting preferred treatment?
Both sides really need to come out before I can make hypotheticals. Too many here are picking one side or the other due to how they feel towards one side or the other. You can dig all you want but it a lot of speculation. We have heard 1 side. Whether you like him or not. I can’t say who created this mess but it’s bad for SU in general.
What kind of treatment is he asking for?He's...not getting any treatment right now. So I ask again.
Should he get better treatment than SU's largest donors? (this is assuming he donates of course)
He wants to be like Mike Repole at St. John’s. That’s my take. What kind of treatment is he asking for?
Even Repole donates to the main St. John’s collective though. He wants to be like Mike Repole at St. John’s. That’s my take.
And if you haven’t seen that treatment just turn on some St. John’s games. You’d think he was part of the team how he’s in the handshake line and sitting on the bench with players.
You are assuming. Maybe he does maybe he doesn’t. Maybe he enjoyed what was going on before. I couldn’t tell you but again you don’t know. If you don’t care for him fine. Why do you care how he supports SU. You can’t say he doesn’t donate. He said he did. His words. It seems like your stance is based on how you perceive him.He wants to be like Mike Repole at St. John’s. That’s my take.

Repole donates to a collective. If AW simply did that he could get fluffed by the administration and the fan base to his hearts content. He wants to be like Mike Repole at St. John’s. That’s my take.

I feel like we are running the same question over and over. I don’t care at all if he supports red and griff, see how I didn’t say SU. However SU should be able to dictate how funds are received for NIL purposes. The school needs control, I get that. That Doesn’t work with what AW wants to do. I get that too. I think people need to move on. I wonder if we will be having this conversation in a year if red isn’t retained. You are assuming. Maybe he does maybe he doesn’t. Has it? It seems like a hell of a lot of people don’t know? Why is there supposedly an article coming out? Why have board members here tried to get all sides to come together. Nothing has been explained.Repole donates to a collective. If AW simply did that he could get fluffed by the administration and the fan base to his hearts content.
I can't believe people here are still like "Whaaaa happened? Why is there a problem? Why don't we want his Billionzzz?!"
It's been explained over and over and over again.
I guess i don’t care for the assumptions. I don’t know the hiccups but like I have said time and again if we are trying to keep up NIL it’s somewhat low hanging fruitI feel like we are running the same question over and over. Yep exactlyWell, then egos got in the way.
SU told Weitsman that he had to run his money through a collective.Has it? It seems like a hell of a lot of people don’t know? Why is there supposedly an article coming out? Why have board members here tried to get all sides to come together. Nothing has been explained.
What are the facts since you seem to know?
What do you mean there are buildings named after the Lallys. I don’t see the aw soccer field anywhere. I’m pretty positive they are also involved in football nil. Again as can donate anytime he wants.Do you know that to be true? If so provide truth.
We get it. You are an aw fan. Just explain to me why he won’t donate to a collective like everyone else. Your defense of him is all smoke and mirrors.Yep exactly
