Camo done right can look pretty cool for a one-off look. I’m from a rural area (so that’s probably why) but we have a blue camo for one of our youth leagues and the kids and parents went nuts over it.

There is piping around the numbers on the blue jersey but it is grey (same color as the very hard to see designs on the sleeves). That's one of the biggest problems with the current blue jersey.

Very good point regarding "if the kids like it..." but I wonder if the lack of concern how the fans feel hurts the overall interest in the program. Possibly this is one of many factors that leads to poor attendance?

BTW, if done right, I think orange camo jerseys with a orange chrome helmet would be a great Military Appreciation Day one off.

It’s worth considering every possible action that may negatively effect attendance. Not only is history working against us, but present college athletics trends. I agree with you it’s potentially an issue, but if the players like i’d have to believe the new generation of cuse fans may like it too.

As much as i hate VT, i like what has been done with some of their alternate uniforms in past. Here are their 3 camo alternatives. I like 1 & 2, 3 not as much.

Or maybe UCONN can play in their alternate greys, while SU wears the "platinum" uniforms and the camo can be more subtle...camo from each other...then they will not know which team is which. Officials just trying to even out the chances of better game for UCONN...

Eh, it’s not like this game is going to be a classic. Crushing UConn is pedestrian and routine this season. They can go ahead and look like goof balls to get that out of their system.

FSU would have been a great game for traditional uniforms on account of its replay value. And, it’s a travesty that we dressed like clowns for the Clemson game last year, and the VT game before that.

I guess my personal opinion on it...if people arent going to games do to the uniforms...they arent really fans to begin with. And I am sorry if feelers get hurt by that...thats just my thought.

So they beat Clemson, VT and FSU and still we have someone complaining about the uniforms! I swear some people are just miserable. As long as they win the uniforms shouldn’t matter. You know what they should really do since everyone is so into the classics, they should come out in those pink and lime green uniforms from yesteryear! That would shut everyone up!
