Noel cut list to 3

So u wouldn't have traded Arinze for Anthony Davis?
no, he'd have been a national champ had he not gotten hurt. His four years were fantastic. Davis may never win one and will be known as a giant unibrowed doosher.

Its on scout but i dont have a subscription, id assume its us uk and gtown ?

Why WOULDN'T he go to Kentucky, especially if he's of the mind of being one and done?

Name a 4 or 5 drafted in the NBA from Cuse the past decade. Kentucky will have a couple in the past couple years (Cousins, Davis).

I'd love to get the most talented kids. But with the stuff plaguing our program this year, getting a rental player that's already triggered NY Times speculation...no thanks.

I would rather have Noel over Coleman is all i'm saying and if Coleman went to Kentucky our chances would be greater.

If Coleman had committed to Kentucky, we'd have a chance of getting neither.
Although I think UK is the front-runner for NN, I don't believe that Coleman's presence impacts Noel's decision at this point.

When I watch Noel I see a slightly taller Hakim Warrick. He is a better shot blocker but has a lot of the same overall skills. When he moves it looks a lot like Warrick and he worked out well for cuse. I think he is at the point developmentally as such a high recruit that he could possibly have the same type of impact Warrick did in '03. 12-15 ppg off dunks, alley-oops, putbacks and a couple post posessions while being a terror on the wing of the zone. We could slide him inside at times to take advantage of his shot blocking skills but I think this would be a great move. Offensively with J-South and CJ he would be fine and I think DC2 will be more polished than anyone we have down low this year. He will be able to play with his back to the basket as a 5. I really think that that if he is like a sophomore early junior Warrick we can use him in the same capacity. Remember Warrick was a 1st team AA as a senior and he truly had no jumpshot. Noel would look good in Orange that is all I know.

Warrick had a reliable jumper to 15 feet. As a sophomore he also had a number of spin moves in the post. In my memory Hakim was more of an offensive presence than defense (although "the block" stands out). NN seems like more of a defensive presence with some face up skills and a developing offensive game. They both look like freak athletes though.

Syracuse is a lot closer to home for NN. Me thinks his family could get to a few more games.

Thought the same thing. I def think that Noel is a 4. He has the foot quickness to play there unlike Rak. He would be our best shot blocking wing since Warrick, even though James is good.

Offensively, he would be just like a young Warrick. Hakim didn't develop his post moves (besides spin) and mid range until his junior year when he had become the star. Noel has a handle that Warrick never had which leaves me to believe that he can drive. This could be a weapon. (think G'town's Simms.)

Paging Jake for an update...

in home visits from Calipari and JB this week

Well, since NYC, NJ, Philly, and DC are home games for SU, we have about 27 home games per year
