Don't know if the lake freezes there, but the designers should look at what happens when the ice starts to break up. That building might be a little close to shore.
 
That's space-age pretty but that would get mauled by the cold weather.
 
I remember what the wind was like coming off of the lake at SUNY Oswego. Having an athletic complex that close to Lake Michigan would probably dissuade me from wanting to go there.
 
with the rising seas I hope they have an outstanding crew team
