Not buying this 48 hour turnaround

The UCONN team was better than us. And Pitt was a terrific team. that Rutgers team was sandwiched around two NIT teams. Sadly it was the golden age of Rutgers basketball and the Rac was a tough place to play. Don't compare the two. This great va tech team got blasted by two teams in the league. They aren't that good. And for you to say that the turnaround didn't have an effect is just plain dumb. The team didn't get much of a chance to game plan for those guys. or rest. Va Tech on the other hand, was plenty rested after getting smoked by UNC on Monday. And they were at home. They played a great game. They had the advantages and they ran with them. But typical of you, you only see and remember what you see last. va tech has a good team and they are well coached. But both have been way blown out of proportions. That '03 Syracuse team was very young. Three frosh, three sophs, 1 jr and 1 sr. They can be excused for getting beat early in the year. Meanwhile, Va tech isn't so young. 3 of their top 5 scorers are sr's. Another is a jr. To compare that with our '03 team misses the mark
Not trying to compare the two teams just saying good teams can lose to bad teams and get blown out.

I don't buy the 48 hr turnaround either ... what exactly would SU do differently with
a week to have prepared for this? They came off three good offensive performances,
three wins, and had guys playing well. They switching to man to man in that timeframe?
No. They gonna run any different offensive sets? No. The zone would continue to lose
guys once they get hot.

You're kidding yourselves if you're thinking there's any great additions to the gameplan
given the situation prior to vatech.
