Final bubble after overnight "scrub." IN: Temple, Michigan, St. Mary's. OUT: Monmouth, So. Carolina, Vandy. A Memphis win bumps St. Mary's.

Yes he's stated as recently as yesterday that we have no chance.

However, he did admit (on another subject) that he always misses one team. Hopefully that team is us. He's just killed us.

We are really hurting from recency bias here.

We have a better resume then most or all of these teams don't we?

That St John's loss ... Ugh.

The guy is literally a douchenozzle at this point. It is fine to not have us "in" but how aren't we even in his discussion is so much bias its laughable.

The guy is the Frank Luntz of bracketologists. He does whatever he has to do to come to the conclusions he wants instead of analyzing the facts.

He missed two last year, had Temple and Colorado State in but Indiana and UCLA got the nods over them.

Cheers,
Neil

Many people missed those 2 last year. The consensus was really clean ... unlike this year.

Yeah I don't understand how brackets change when nobody has played since the last bracket.

Syracuse has probably one of the largest fan base on the bubble...maybe he is trolling to get traffic and buzz. It seems like most of us are outraged about him. If ppl are talking about him he gets what he needs to stay relevant.

Hopefully the committee thinks that too ;)

If you squint, and turn your head to the side, Joey looks like Slimer from the movie Ghostbusters.

Guy has no credibility, and even less influence over the committee.

As much as I'd like to call Lunardi a ___________, my overwhelming sentiment toward him is admiration: that he could create something that has such a stupid premise and somehow give it year-long relevance. Debate and controversy are what give it a life.

Yeah, I'm not sure why he doesn't justify it. He just seems content to say, "Nope, Syracuse out." He keeps mentioning barometers for other teams that would certainly put us ABOVE the team he is talking about when discussing why that team should be in. So weird. He's a tool.

I imagine he's talked about and I missed it, but not sure...since seemingly I missed it. :)

But they play in Philly.

I think the play in game between Temple and St Joes would be a good one.

him. Clueless pos
I really hope the committee members are sitting in their conference room watching Yukon and Memphis and every time they show Lunardi's first four out, they just look at each other and say that MF'er had no idea what he is talking about.

If you want to truly understand how important lunardi is, just go to the bracket matrix. He's just one of like 70 people who bother to do this and take the time to post it online.

He's a genius, or more likely lucky (not that there's anything wrong with luck) that he happened to be the guy ESPN picked to put on the air.

I wonder why ESPN has never put on another bracket expert. They've got 2 draft experts for the nfl, and mort and shefter cover the nfl rumor mill. I think 2 tourney projection guys would make for good tv and maybe even make people hate lunardi less.

It seems inevitable...We did not make the Tournament. We simply are not good enough and when you consider the manner in which we pathetically limped to the finish line of the season... we don't belong and at least it saves us one more experience of watching this team being unable to get it done.

These past couple years certainly represent a low point for the program in a long, long time. Sad but unfortunately true.

Booooooo

I do think it is a bit weird he recently put Michigan back in...yet with Syracuse...once we were out, he decided we had literally zero chance of ever getting back into his bracket. Normally he doesn't think like that.

Lundari was just on ESPN2 -- it's clear he thinks we have no shot to get in.

I really hope it's just an anti-Syracuse sentiment from him as opposed to "inside information" as some have speculated
