not exactly a feel good win

6! more like 12-14! He had at least 6 missed layups (got bailed out by a couple foul calls).
He registered 13 pts and 8 boards, but was just 4-12 from the field. He would normally have made at least three or four of those shots.

this ain't kindergarten graduation where you clap for every kid who crosses the stage. we totally sucked second half.

You miss my point. Not happy that we blew the lead. I am happy that we were able to hold our composure when many teams would have folded completely. Three Top 10 teams lost today, two of them to unranked foes and another to a team ranked behind Marquette. Every game is not going to be a blowout win for us.

Technically, we didn't blow the lead. The closest they got was within two. And they had a ton of help from Higgins & Co. We even had a shot to break it open again, but then the flagrant on Melo was called.

The first half was impressive. The second half wasn't basketball...it was a joke.

True. We have gotten use to him being super-efficient. He seemed off today, but did have some big rebounds.

Lots of moving Picks down low for Marquette (Not Called) and the Flagrant call (same Refs Different year)

Every win over a ranked team is a feel good win.

I think you misunderstood me also. I am pleased with the win. this is why run out leads are good.

guess i really don't understand how any syracuse fan can watch that second half and smile. i was def con ballistic.

Here is how. Over the course of a season, happens. In most years when it happens, we lose. Even the 2003 team lost some games they shouldn't have.

I don't expect us to blow out every foe and I don't expect us to hold big leads against every ranked team we play. It would be great if we did, but that's not the way it works. Never has, never will.

What I do look for is character...on every great SU team, they have been able to suck it up when happened. I'm not happy with the way we lost the lead but I am happy that we didn't fold.
