As to next year i actually like the team. Im a fan of Cole, Symir, and Jimmy. I actually think Jimmy is going to have a great year.
Big strong lefty. Has some Marty Byrne in him. Cole can shoot better than anyone on the team other than Buddy and hes 6'9. Symir boy i hope he starts. His handle and passing in HS were very good. Hes 6'3 6'4 and can get to the hole. So we have some nice pieces. Through in Joe Sid if he can walk and Jes and its a nice balanced roster. Would love to add a slasher at wing. We will be ok. Should finish upper half of ACC and land a 8 9 10 seed.

The way the game is played today is different. NC is one of the few teams who still play with two bigs.

Buddy couldn’t guard a G Leaguer one on one. He also would be stripped every time he tried to attack off the dribble. He has one skill that is NBA level. Yes, it is a commodity, but he is not an NBA talent.

Sounds great on paper.

The only issue is that Frank isn't a forward, largely because he has a poor feel for the game. He was ranked in the top 75 because he has terrific physical tools, and like many bigs -- he gets projected based upon potential.

But the reality of the situation is that at this current stage of his developmental curve, he has million dollar tools / potential, but a 10-cent feel for the game. He didn't even start on his high school program, basically for the same reason.

Again, tantalizing potential. All of the physical tools are there. But it remains to be seen whether he'll improve his hoops IQ to the point where he'll even be a CONTRIBUTOR, let alone a starter. Let alone a forward.

How would anyone know? We haven't seem him play for a year.

Frank had virtually no PT last year and is the 3rd center entering this year so his PT potential elsewhere would be much greater.
