Not renewing season tickets thread...

Front runners or casual fans. I don’t know any die hard fan that’s giving up their season tickets no matter how disappointed they are in the season.

Not sure I’d call an 18 year season ticket holder a “casual.” Some people are fed up with being mediocre.

As for me, I’ll renew because I have a short term memory when it comes to SU sports.

Ahh I can see that. My point was they will ask if I’m renewing and when I say no they will ask why I won’t be renewing and I’ll tell them, not that I’m going to call and harass the reps.

I’ve had season tickets for 16 years and I think we’ve only had four winning seasons. It’s getting hard to take when you drive 2 hours each way to a game. Today was flat out embarrassing, but I’ll probably renew again next year. Hoops is getting tougher because of starting times like Next Wednesday against Virginia. Getting home after 1:00 am is tough when you’re trying to dodge deer.

I’ll be renewing and will be bringing my soon to be retired brother in tow. NY in the fall is a great place to be and I plan to make SU football our tradition while we can. I’ve been working on his house for years, getting it ready for my living there during football season.

I don’t like winter in NY so will let him take on familial responsibility for basketball attendance. I’m very disappointed the team didn’t meet my expectation, but perhaps I expected too much. Serves me right for getting more than I expected last year...

Today was as bad as it gets, but I will renew my Syracuse University season tickets for football. I bleed Orange and always will but boy today was tough. Coach Babers has some decisions that he must make.

I think it will be both. You will be forced to move to new seats based on your donor level and the price of all the football tickets in the dome will increase since capacity will be reduced with the new individual seats.

How old is your daughter and does she enjoy the games? I know hoop is on a school night but I would think hoop would be more fun for her

Four, she loves them. Likes hoops too. Football is nice because we ditch our decent seats and go up to the top and I let her climb around a bit haha. Dome dog, soft pretzel, maybe some popcorn. Great dad move.

i seriously doubt the 3rd level price will go up especially if they only do individual seating in lower level as expected. They will increase price for 100 and 200 level some but off a likely 3-9 season with a blah home slate next season it cant be substantial. IM kinda assuming the seating will be going to parking system next year as when i asked last week if they new anything about season ticket pricing for next year , they said no decision has been made

30 year ticket holder. Today an usher told me and my friend we couldn’t go down his section 30 minutes before the game to say hi to a young recruit standing down on the field that he knew. Then the game. Then I get a parking ticket for opposite side parking in a spot I’ve parked for about those 30 years.
Like the man said...everybody has a breaking point.

I'm actually gonna try to get season tickets next year. First time in a while I'll be able to swing it financially. My youngest just turned 18 and will graduate high school next spring. I am a fan, period. This season will pass and it'll get put in the rear view where it belongs. I have faith that Dino will fix this and I'd love to be there when he does. Figure if I can make 3 or 4 of the games, I'd be good with that and donate the tix I don't use to someone on this board or to one of the local military families.

I have been a season ticket holder since 1998, I will be buying my two tickets again, but I bought 4 additional this year to support program and I couldn’t give them away after Clemson game, needless to say I won’t be buying those 4 again, but I’ll be in section 115 again next year watching us get out coached, out hustled, and getting our nuts kicked in.

Has nothing to do with my season tickets but I canceled my trip to Raleigh to see them play Duke, if the team is playing like it doesn’t care why should I?? So anyone who wants them I have 2 tickets with TexanMark you can have for FREE

With that said we will still have our tailagte set up at Louisville and welcome the Cincinnati Syracuse Alumni Group for what I’m afraid is going to be a blood bath. (We Have never played good there as it is)
