Hopefully they were just enjoying the attention. But 3 of our current verbals were at the game and were at a rutgirls pre-game recruiting activity. At least one of them was also in the rutgirls locker room after the game

That my friend is the problem with losing. This can't continue or the program could implode (again).

I thought our 2013 recruiting was supposed to be all wrapped up with double-secret verbals and we are now focusing on 2014 recruits. Surely this is just some sort of misdirection play? (Pick whatever emoticon you like)

Keeping their options open just in case there's a change in the staff?

But he had those golden binders and awesome relationships with coaches from NJ that were going to kill it in recruiting. Call me skeptical on the recruiting to-date and the whole binder thing 4 years ago. I want to be positive but this one is hard right now.

So Augustus, Wayne, and Devan Carter? Awesome...

Which are MAJOR advantages. The sky isn't freakin falling people
It's mid-October and SU has 8 verbals and some of those are wavering. Unless they go on a tear, recruiting could well go into the crapper. I would term that "sky crashing down on their heads."

An upstate lb/rb, a juco city kid and a city rb. All commits.
So, Carter, Williams, Edwards? To think some fans want to keep Marrone just to keep Allen. Honestly, I am just disgusted with the performance of DM. I love college football so much and to see the crap we have been dealt is so disheartening.

Other than no Jeter for the rest of the playoffs and a couple other things from yesterday I can't remember, that is the most disheartening thing I've heard in 2 days.

This reminds me of the show Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. All that is is missing is the guy with the weird hair. I'm not saying the aliens don't exist, but...

And the guy with the weird hair went to Ithaca College. Coincidence to three verbals being at Rutgers? I think not.

Why wouldn't kids keep their options open? When the head coach says we play the people who give us the chance to win, and you haven't won, yet he's playing juniors and seniors. Meanwhile the sophmores, reshirt freshmen, and freshmen sit, yea maybe its wise not to go there.

Because the players out there do give us the best chance to win. If every team that doesn't win just benches their upperclassmen, you'd see those teams tank in recruiting.
